On a side note, a very similar bug was fixed in 1535 (case 2069), which I never was able to reproduce before it was fixed.
Which IDE are you using? How easily can you make this happen? Simply typing this, ignoring the autotext suggestion, but allowing VA to insert the matching brackets for me, I cannot reproduce this in VS2003. |

I'm using VC2005, but this morning I cannot reproduce the error. I get only this error message from intellisense

That message is from the IDE, not VA. Sometimes I have seen that message appear, but I still get intellisense as normal since VA can work out what is going on. Are you getting any problems with completion listboxes?
As for the dot being turned into ->, if it starts happening again any details you can provide to help us reproduce it will be greatly appreciated. |
