Which version of VA and which IDE are you using?
I recall a fix for a similar problem a few builds ago, so if you are using an old build this may now be fixed in 1540.

I am seeing the same effect here. I ended up downloading a 500meg DirectX SKD to reproduce this, and then only needed 2 lines of code *rolls eyes*

case=3727 is fixed in build 1649
