Since the orignal thread is now locked, re-opening it here.
Using the posted .REG script, Va Outline does not show up in the VA Tools menu.
RegMon shows that VA is apparently looking at the key, but that's about it.
Using VS 2003, fwiw. |

I have moved this to the public beta section.
Which build of VA are you using? Look in your registry, what type is the key "DebugOutline"? It should be a String key. Have you restarted the IDE since setting this registry key? |

Yes it's a string, from the .reg script - it appears in Va6, VaNet, VaNet7.0, and VaNet8. All four have a Reg_Sz value of 1, no quotes. Yes, I have - rebooted this morning like always. Including the Help About Info bits, hope it helps you to isolate what the problem might be:

Did you say yes to resetting the IDE when you installed the build? |

A reset is listed as required in this thread:

Upgrading to 1544 from 1549 without a reset I do not see the menu option. With a reset I do. I just added the registry values as string values by hand. |
