I have found "the History of Changes and Fixes" in v 1557

Prevented VA from overwriting IDE status bar messages. (Visual Studio.NET and higher.) (case=6499) 6244

But this problem also exist in VC6 but havn't fixed yet.

I am seeing the same thing here. I have re-opened the case for VC6.
