When VAX is dormant because the trial expired and you open the context menu in a source editor, the Surround with menu will hang the whole VS. CPU usage goes 100%. Have to kill the app.
Not a common scenario, but a sure indication of a bad bug, possibly interfering with disabling VAX too?
Thanks for the report. 1559 doesn't have the surround with menu - I believe you are seeing it because 1559 did not cause an IDE setup when installed. The build you had installed before going back to 1559 hangs also if the trial has expired and the IDE context menu is displayed.
