Hello,
I have installed build 10.4.1619.0 on visual studio 2005. Sometimes when I scroll window or mark a section, there are strange symbols in my code. Here is a screenshot before scrolling to the right:
And her after scrolling:
Thank You

Which font are you using?
This reminds me of some problem reports we have had with the "Envy Code VS" font. |

I am using the font "Bitstream Vera Sans Mono", fontsize 11. Same effect with "Courier new". |

So much for that theory.
How easily can you reproduce this? How are you scrolling sideways? Clicking with the mouse on the horizontal scroll bar? Middle clicking with the mouse wheel and moving the mouse sideways? Moving the mouse through a long line of code?
Which language are you programming in?
If you turn off all of VA's enhanced syntax colouring features does this make any difference? Do you have any other plugin's installed? |

I can very easily reproduce this. Every time I scroll or mark any section this happens. It doesn't matter which way to scroll. I am programming in C++. It also happens in C#. Turn off syntax coloring does not change anything!
Like in other thread, the bug disappears in build 1561.
Thank you |

Clearly something is going on, but I am not seeing any problems so far.
Can you export your VA and IDE settings please:
VA Options -> Performance -> Export Settings
IDE tools menu -> Import and Export Settings -> Export selected environment settings
and submit the files via the form:
http://www.wholetomato.com/support/contact.asp
including this thread ID or URL in the description, so we can match it up. Hopefully I can reproduce the problem with your settings. |

I think there is a problem with the request assistance site:
"The file you requested cannot be found on our site." |

*sigh* confirmed, the form works fine if you just use it, but it breaks with an attachment.
We have had this problem before, obviously it has come back with the website being updated.
If you submit a bug report you should be emailed by our bug tracking system. If you then reply to that email with an attachment the attachment should reach me without a problem. I will ask someone to fix the form, but that should do as a temporary work around. |
