When I start with a comment in a C++ file that looks this way

/********************
 * ...
 * ...
 ********************/

then only the very first line is colored correctly (as shown above).
If I add two empty lines before the comment everything is fine.
Reparse current file doesn't help at all.

Win XP, VS 2003, Build 1626, no other add-ins.

I am seeing the same thing. I also see the same colouring when I disable VA.

So I used the registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\VisualStudio\\7.1\\Addins\\VAssistNET.Connect\\LoadBehavior = 0

to stop VA from loading at all. When I copy / paste this comment into an existing cpp file, at the very top, I see the same colouring. This appears to be an IDE bug.
