Is there any way to disable all the default VA snippets so only the ones I've manually created appear? I don't care about most of them, but I've got a few that are very useful to me. Deleting snippets pops up a dialog every time and doesn't allow multiple selection of snippets.

you can open the file holding the snippets in a text editor. With a little care you can delete most of them in one go.
