 VA v.10 and WinXP x64		  New Topic  Reply to Topic

I just installed VA v10 on my machine running Windows XP x64, with VS 2008 installed. VA is not running correctly.

It has registered itself, in that I have the VAssistX menu in the visual studio menu bar. However, all of the options I can pick (eg Visual Assist X Options) do nothing... nothing happens when I click them.


How do we proceed to debug this?

Are the menu options enabled or disabled?
Are you able to show VA Outline or VA View?

I have VA working correctly on a Vista 64bit system, so I don't see why XP 64bit should cause any problems.

Did you install VA as an administrator account, or as a more limited user?

The issue seemed to resolve itself.

I don't know why, but now it works fine. Go figure.
