Starting with 1707 or 1709 (I'm not sure which), the suggestion list box seems to be misbehaving. As I type the letters of an enum, there are three things I see. One is the enum value I want with a blank entry below it (space for two lines). The next is just the enum value I want. Finally, I get the empty white space.
I can't say for certain, but that when it is displaying the correct value for autocomplete, I notice that the text has a dotted box around it. What I seem to be getting is the next (non-existent) entry in the list. And then I can only see the box surrounding the previous entry.
I have screenshots, but I'm not sure how to put them in this post.
This is straight C. I have seen it a lot. It seems wrong for a large amount of the suggestions.

I got the screenshots, thank you for these.
This effect is very strange and clearly should not happen.
Do you have any other IDE plugin's installed? Are you using Window Blinds, or some other method to skin your windows? http://docs.wholetomato.com?W270
I've done a couple of tests of here under VC6 and WinXP SP3, but I don't see problems with suggestion listboxes.
How often does this problem happen? Once of 2, once of 10, or more rarely? |

I am not using any other plugins.
I don't have a good feeling yet for how often it happens; it just started. When it does happen, it stays wrong. When I was taking the screenshots, it was wrong over and over. However, when I opened the workspace today, it behaved just fine. I am not sure what is triggering the behavior.
The only thing I can think of that is slightly outside ordinary is I have 3+ workspaces open (multiple instance of VS6) and some of the individual projects in the workspace are present in both workspaces.
I will see if I can find out more about when it happens and how often. |

You have a 5 user license. Do others use Visual Assist in VC6? If yes, do they experience similar problems? |

Unfortunately, there are currently only three of us using the license, and they won't use beta software. I didn't see the problem before 1707 that I can recall. |

I would be happy, if you could find any form of pattern about this. |
