sorry for spamming your forum with (maybe) not so important topic, but this problem is quite anoying for me - but it's up to you to decide it's relevant or not.
First, my status info:

I have turned on "Suggestions/Include bits of code...".
1) Have this line:

It's not a spam. It seems like a bugreport  And we are here to help.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to reproduce your problem here. I created a situation, where I typed from the beginning of the line and a suggestion listbox appeared after pressed '=' key, and was focused by default. But the suggestion listbox disappeared for me after I had pressed END.
If I understand correctly you did that same as me: You pressed END after you had typed '=' (so the listbox appeared). Is this the case?
The solution may lies in your settings. Can you please export your VA and IDE settings and send them to me:
VA Options -> Performance -> Export Settings
IDE tools menu -> Import and Export Settings -> Export selected environment settings
You can send them easily by this form:

Please indicate the thread ID or URL in the description, so we can match it up.
If I load them here, maybe I will be able to reproduce this bug. |

If you are sorry for the delay, what can I say?  This thread was sunk. 
Do you still see the same problem? If yes, we can continue the investigation. Has your configuration changed? If yes, please re-post your system info:
VA Options -> System Info -> Copy info
