This don't work on my machine with VS2005.
This feature work well with 1715 and wrong with later version

Do you have more than one user account on your machine? If so did you install VA with the current user account, or a different account?

Can you try this test please, to try and fix this:

Exit VS2005
Delete this registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\VisualStudio\\8.0\\FontAndColors\\Cache\Restart the IDE

Does this help?
