VAX 1649, VS 2008 SP1, XP SP3.

If I type this, I see a nice parameter list-tooltip:

However, If I type this, the list is never shown:
CString str(

This seems to be a timing issue. If you delete and retype the brackets on the instance "str" then you should get a tooltip. Since this is a new variable VA needs time to figure out what it is, before it will know what tooltip to show:
