Which IDE and are you using? Which OS are you using? Which keyboard / language are you using? There is more than one Chinese keyboard / language available in windows.
Can you explain, in detail, what you are doing? I do not speak Chinese, so I won't know if the correct characters are being entered or not when I turn on Chinese and type in the IDE. |

IDE#65306;Visual Studio 2010 beta 2 Professional OS: Windows 7 Ultimate Simplified Chinese keyboard/language: Chinese(Simplified)#65292;China
I setup VA_X_Setup1810.vsix#65292;and enables it in VS, when I type chinese words "ahahaha",correct one will be "#21834;#21704;#21704;#21704;"#65292;but it displays "J#33810;#33810;#33810;"#12290;
when I disable VAX#65292;it is right. |

Thank you for the detailed steps. I am seeing a slightly different effect here using an English OS and IDE, with the Chinese keyboard installed, but I am seeing serious problems with trying to type Chinese characters into VS2010 Beta 2 with VA installed:
case=39165
So far I am not seeing the problem in VS2005 or VS2008, which is some small piece of good news. |
