Some users are experiencing startup hangs and/or crashes with build 1810. In other cases, Visual Assist displays a 'Cannot set allocations' message at startup and is inactive in the IDE.
We are working on these problems. We do not yet know what the triggering factors are for them, and we have not been able to reproduce them ourselves.
To uninstall Visual Assist from Visual Studio 2010, use the Tools | Extension Manager window. If the problems prevent Visual Studio from starting, you can delete the extension from disk (UserProfile\\AppData\\Local\\Microsoft\\VisualStudio\\10.0\\Extensions). |
