Posted - Nov 14 2005 : 11:49:07 AM VS.NET 2003 and 2005 - No context/field nav bar visible for C# files when Resharper is installed along with VAX. The nav bar is occasionally visible for C++ files, but not always. Pressing Alt-M in the case where the nav bar is not visible causes the droplist to display, but the top part of the nav bar where the context and variable name fields live is blank (but seems to be drawn in the place where it would be if it was displayed correctly). VS.NET nav bar is disabled. This also happens with VS.NET 2005 and the corresponding ReSharper build for that platform. Uninstalling ReSharper fixes this problem. ReInstalling brings it back.

Posted - Jan 22 2006 : 12:29:30 PM Yeah, I'm anxiously waiting for VAX to co-exist nicely with Refactor Pro and such. Pretty much can't live without both tools. :(

Posted - Dec 04 2005 : 1:16:42 PM We believe the conflict with subclassing is that same one that occurs with Refactor Pro and Coderush. We have the item on our list of things to address in the next month.

Posted - Nov 30 2005 : 2:52:17 PM i will email support about this. Resharper is problematic, since both it and VA want to "run" the IDE's editor without the IDE's knowledge. |

Posted - Nov 30 2005 : 08:22:24 AM This is still a problem with VAssist build 1434 and Resharper 2.0.210.257. |

Posted - Nov 15 2005 : 6:40:46 PM Yes, I've also posted this in their bug reporting system. No reply from them yet though... |

Posted - Nov 15 2005 : 6:06:09 PM have you mentioned this to ReSharper? both VA and ReSharper are trying to "run" the IDE themselves, which can cause problems. |

Posted - Nov 14 2005 : 12:25:58 PM I should add that only v2 of ReSharper exhibits this problem. Version 1.5 and the RC for ReSharper 1.5.2 can/do co-exist with VAX well. |
