Posted - Feb 13 2008 : 06:58:40 AM The autotext is not working if you are logged in under "localized" account.
For example, if you are logged in using "+?+?+?+?+?+?+?+?+?+?+?+?+?" account, or "#196;m" account (note umlauts!), the autotext does not work. I belive this problem has appeared after moving autotext from "Program Files" to "Documents and settings"..
This happens only when profile name contains non-english symbols.
The path for user account when autotex does not work: "C:\\Documents and Settings\\+?+?+?+?+?+?+?+?+?+?+?+?+?\\"
But this works just fine: "C:\\Documents and Settings\\Administrator\\"
In the latest build (10.4.1626.0) this issue still does exist.

We are working on a fix. For now if you tell VA to store its symbol database in a different directory, as explained in this FAQ entry:
http://docs.wholetomato.com?W332
then the problem will go away. You just need to make sure the directory path you specify does not contain any Unicode characters. |
