Unfortunately, these steps aren't working for me.

Yes, I have turned off insert () and closing } ) ] and I turned on Sugestions/Include bits of code from surrounding lines.
I can repro the problem:
- start writing a function name, say "SnxFC_Insert(", after some chars VA suggests me that function, ENTER
- start writing the first aprameter, say pFileContext (VA suggests: "pFileContext," variants (including ending comma - which I don't know if it was correct...), ENTER

Can you please go to:
VA Options -> System Info -> Copy Info
and paste the details (from the clipboard) into this thread. This will give us the basic information about your setup.
You don't have closing parenthesis after calling FltGetVolumeContext in SnxGetVolumeDeviceNameFromDevExt. It that means you have turned off
VA Options -> Advanced -> Correction -> insert () and closing } ) ] ' "
Can you reproduce this problem? If yes, what are you doing exactly? I wasn't able to reproduce this problem here, using VS2008 and VAX1711. |
