Posted - Mar 23 2007 : 09:14:37 AM Great, that works! On VS 2003 I redefined Window.TileHorizontally to CTRL-X, 2 to have the same emacs split window editing.
I can't find the action to go back to just one window tho (CTRL-X 0 in emacs). Did you also know the action name to maximize VS 2003 windows? |

Posted - Mar 22 2007 : 09:37:12 AM The IDE can do this. How you do this will depend on the IDE you are using. One method is to use MIDI mode, rather than tabs, so you get windows that can be tiled.
Alternatively in VS2003, VS2005 you can right click on the tabs and select "New Horozontal Tab Group" |
