It would be great if when you hover a cursor over a resource defined as a string the VA IntelliSense locate the string from the resource and display an actual string. What do you think?

Unfortunately this is a know bug, and it is a VS2010 specific problem. We are looking into this, but I don't currently have an estimate for when it will be fixed:

Hi guys,
Sorry for reviving an old topic. I thought I'd put it here. The "VA Options -> Advanced -> Display -> Enable automatic Quick Info ToolTips" option is not working in VS 2010 for Resource Strings. Is it a known bug? |

This has been working for some years. Can you try turning on:
VA Options -> Advanced -> Display -> Enable automatic Quick Info ToolTips
and see if this makes any difference? |

It is 1823 for VS2005. Has the enhancement to display string values been added recently?
The reason I've created the post here is I could not find any reference to this feature in your release notes.
This is how the string is initialised in the string table:

Which IDE and version of VA are you using?
The string value is being shown for me in both VS2005 and VS2008 with VA 1827. |
