Someone had to put browser concepts in MSDev. Leave it to Visual Assist. Back and Forward buttons take you to recently visited and modified code, even across files. Navigate with ease.

Well, I installed another add-in which reset my toolbars, so I decided it was an ideal time to install VA X too. Only two months after I joined the beta program...

Anyway, I discovered that the Back and Forward buttons have disappeared. Is this something to do with this old thread: http://forum.wholetomato.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=491 ? I did actually use this feature.

Took me a while to get over it and discover the Visual Studio-Buttons for Navigation...

We are considering removing the VA.NET commands from our toolbar and intercepting the VS.NET commands.

Question is:
Are you? Or is the "VS.NET Navigation" untouched?

VA X intercepts the default VS.NET back and forward commands and inserts reference points when necessary. We no longer need our own versions. (Yet another hidden piece of VA X.)

VC++ users still get navigation commands with VA X since the IDE has none of its own.
