Using the Go Command ALT+G causes a beep.

I don't think he was complaining that it doesn't work, just that it beeps every time it does work.
Why is this, and can we be rid of it, please?

Lucky you. I have plenty of beeps, with ALT-G on 1214 on VS2003.
Before long we're going to posting .WAV files to this forum, I can see...

Not only is there a beep on <ALT-G>, but also when I close a solution. For every project there is 1 beep. Since I have solutions which have about 40 projects in them it sounds like I'm being gunned down with an automatic weapon! 
(Serves me right, for quiting VS  ) |

We believe the beeps are gone in build 1215, both on Alt+G and at shutdown of the IDE. Let us know if we missed a case.
Alt+G works as expected in build 1215 -- it goes to a declaration or definition. |
