When I unload the addin, and later load the addin, MSDEV disappears without error message.

Why unload? Because I did not find the option to enable/disable VA in the options dialog anymore.

Dear Uniwares,

Try customizing your toolbar. In the "Addins" list (in the tab "Commands"), there is something called Enable/Disable Visual Assist X.
You can also use the menu called "Assist".

(At least in VS.Net...)

Which, by the way does not have an accelerator assigned.
