Hi!

VS .NET gives you the option to "collapse/expand" several scopes in your sourcecode.

BUT, and this is really annoying, VS .NET doesn't save these custom-set collapse-regions.
So everytime I have to set/prepare them for collapsing whenever I load the Solution (Workspace)...

Could you please implement a "Save scope-collapse-Points" Option?

If you really don't know what I'm talking about, here are some screens:
Standard when opening Solution/Workspace:

Collapsed (nice, but not saved by VS .NET):

Expanded:

One would think the IDE would do this for you, or at least have an option to make it happen. Perhaps someone else has the answer.

As for us, we like the idea but will not touch it for a long while. We have numerous bugs to fix and features to tweak before we take on more work.

Just switched over to VS .NET 2003 and it saves these "scope-collapse" settings (well, it automagically shows them after loading a solution), so the wish can be discarded. Don't know if you can disable that feature... anyone using .NET 2003 can tell me if it is a configurable feature?

What? First you ask for the feature, then you get the feature and now you want to disable it?

No way!

I just wanna make sure that I cannot disable it accidently by playing around with several settings at once....
I really couldn't stand it loosing that feature just by fiddling around and not knowing what exactly I changed...

Wow!

My VS.NET 2003 doesn't saves state of "scopes" ! Where can I enable this feature?

P.S. Long time ago I asked WholeTomato about including this feature into VAX.

I'm not sure, Ivan, all I know is that it shows those scopes after converting and opening a .NET 2002 Solution.
I didn't change anything in the options of .NET 2003...
