What I am always missing is a context menu for VS6/VS.NET files in the Windows Explorer. Things like: * right-click on a .dsp file and choose "Build" * ... on a .cpp file and "Compile" * ... on a .ico file and "Add to project..."
Lots of possibilities here what to do with development files from the Explorer. MS completely left this out.
