I just downloaded and installed VisualAssist X 1215. I have VSIP 7.1 SDK installed on this system (along with VSNET 2003). Visual Assist installed into the exp hive.

Is there a switch to force into normal registry hive for installation? If not, then there should be :)

(note: if I set the envsdk_regkey environment variable to null it does install into the correct hive)

Katie

I noticed the same problem Katie. You have to temporarily rename both the ENVSDK_REGKEY and the ENVSDK_ROOTSUFFIX environment variables (I put an underscore in front of them) during the Visual Assist installation. Then all seems to be well.
