This worked Pre-VAX.

1. Create function definition in header file.
2. go to source file and
a. CClassName::
b. Select auto completion
c. Cursor is now between parens
d. White completion tip shows, but pressing tab does not insert

Can you select with Return?

Do you have the option for "Return" checked in the Text Editor|Completion node of our options dialog?

What IDE do you use?

accept with:
Tab
Return

Edit:
It doesn't put in the parameters with Return either.
