 newly added string resouce not showing		  New Topic  Topic Locked

VC6++ SP5, VA-X build 1218

Symptoms:
A new string resource is added. The new string resource id will not show up for auto completion or any other pop-up lists.

To correct this problem, I will need to restart DevStudio.

Anyone have similar problem?

I'm on VS .NET 2003 using C++, and it does not recognize new resources for me right away either. If I wait a while, or if I manually have VA reparse the resource.h file, then it shows up.

I haven't tried the option to watch for externally modified files, but this may fix it as well.
