I am a registered user of v6, what happens to my settings on upgrade, and also are they retained when/if I go back to v6 after trying out/testing VAX?

If not, what files do I need to backup?

Also is VAX free for me to upgrade to?

VA 6.0 settings remain intact. You can remove VA X if you don't like it. Reinstall of VA 6.0 is the easiest way to make that version active again.

You lose settings only when you uninstall one of our products.
