using VAX 1219 and VC .NET 2003

the top two items in the ctrl_shift_v menu are:

) const;
const QString &

i know this from pasting them into my code. they are displayed as:

) const;
const QString _

the underscore seems to be one of the extended characters, rather than the one i get from my keyboard, since it looks longer than a normal _ character.

i am in England, and the keyboard is set to UK layout, since it is a UK keyboard . international settings are also set to UK.

from VAX about info:
Font: Courier New 13(Pixels)

They have UK keyboards? Oh, yeah, I guess you don't have much use for the "$" symbol, huh? Interesting...

interesting, when i click on the link i get "you do not have access to this forum".

as for the keyboard, i have quite a lot of use for $ (dollar), and it is on shift 4. the UK keyboard layout moves several of the symbol charactes around, most notably #, which can be a problem under Unix.

i suspect you dont have the pound sign (-? - wonders if that will work) on shift 3

Yup, that's the "Private Beta Forum".
Be assured that this bug is known (or at least told) to WT-Support...
