I have a black background, so most users won't notice this bug.

I think the checkboxes in "Enhance Syntax Coloring" got wired up wrong. Suddenly in 1220, the only way I can get VAX coloring in the source window is by having the "Views" checkbox checked. Doing that, of course, makes my HCB unreadable (because I have light-colored fonts for my black background).

So right now, I can either have no coloring in the source window and the HCB window, or an unreadable HCB window.

(Checking the "Source Windows" checkbox doesn't seem to affect anything, as far as I can tell.)

I'm gonna mark this as Fatal, as there's no way it can ship like this, I feel pretty sure...

As obvious a problem as it seems, we are unable to reproduce it. Applying color to source windows and views works as expected. We tested both VC++ 6.0 and VS.NET 2003.

Anyone else with the problem?

I don't see this problem under .NET 2003, but I do see it on two different machines under VC6 - both machines misbehave in exactly the same way, so I'm surprised you can't duplicate it. I tried changing my background colors, and reseting the colors to defaults. Any ideas for what else I can try?

It appears "Views" or "Listboxes" must be enabled for coloring of "Source Windows" to work in VC++ 6.0.

We are working on a fix.
