After reinstall VAX most of my customised shortcuts disapeared or was reassigned to another functionality. It happen with build 1218 and with 1221 too. Since i had about 180 shortcuts assigned, I'm not very happy with that.

during the install did you accept the default option to update / reset the shortcuts?

support, perhaps this shouldnt be the default during the install?

On initial install, VA X does not have the option of resetting. It must. Required by VSIP integration.

We have a note on our downloads page to the effect. Obviously, it is not noticeable enough.

MS acknowledges the problem. VS.NET 2005, aka Whidbey, will have a mechanism to save and restore assignments.

Maybe you could at least warn the user that you're going to do this and that it's a Microsoft bug. Otherwise they will blame you. (See my post in private thread #1092).
