That would be nice if there was a clear link between a class and a resource. Unfortunately this is not the case.
One can only assume that you for example use MFC and thus the ID of the resource is the enum member named IDD.
As soon as you use another framework (ATL, WTL, Window Forms, etc) this is completely different story. Not even to talk about all the 3rd party frameworks or your own modifications to the "standard" wizard generated code.
Nice would be a ability to manually define "related" files. This has been already discussed some time ago in this forum. Basically it allows you to build groups of files and a command like the "Open corresponding CPP/H" would allow to open a related file easily. This might be extended to include resources (Dialogs, Menus, whatever) |
