VA View no longer remembers the fact that I don't want to display it, and appears every time I start the IDE :(

By what method do you dismiss the VA View?

I have worked around this issue. The issue went away after starting the IDE under the Administrator account (only had to start it up, did not have to do anything else, and only one time), after doing this the setting is remembered okay from normal user-level accounts.
