Not sure how Larry's comment fits. Must be an inside joke. Part of a movie we haven't seen?

Can we assume the crashing does not occur if you disable or uninstall VA X?

Do you mind exiting your IDE and removing the ncb files associated with your project? They often causes crashes.

Any chance at a call stack?

My current project involves me getting a lot of what I call "Tarzan" bug reports. Instead of detailed, useful descriptions, I get bug reports such as Tarzan would have done them: "Program not work. Make many problems. Tarzan hate program." So I guess I'm a little prickly right now...

I am in a crunch at the moment. Yes, if I disable VA, it does not crash. The crash happens at various points, from compiling to debugging to just loading a project.

I posted mainly so others new there was a new crash... today I crashed about 6 times before I finally uninstalled 1233 and went back to 1231.

Larry, from your description I'd say you've been reading the public forum of VAX

John, unfortunately I have not a single crash. What I noticed that VC6 seems to "hang" after exiting. This had been fixed already.

Unfortunately, I was seeing it with both my C# and my C++ solutions, so it is not language related. Anyone know how to get a copy of the bug/error report sent to microsoft when it does its reporting? If so, I might still have those files around on my system.

Otherwise, I'll reinstall after my deadline and try to catch it.

John
