In the VA X Options -> Text Editor -> Completion, I have "Display Suggestion Listboxes" checked, but for "accept with", I have only "Tab" checked. "Return" and "Any character not valid in a symbol" are not checked.
Yet, if I have a symbols "foo" and "foo_bar" defined, if I type "foo" and then ".", it often accepts "foo_bar" from the completion listbox. Aaaargh ...
I tried it with two CStrings named foo and foo_bar, and I can't duplicate it (1233/.NET2003). Do you have a real example you can post? And are you sure it's coming from the completion listbox, and not from the "Suggest Bits O'Code" listbox?
