Using VS2003.Net and its built-in stored procedure editor:
VAX is active in these types of source windows (context menu, column indicator), although it does not show the definition bar.
The real problem here is that syntax coloring is active but coloring of symbols is rather random. The same symbol is colored differently across the whole stored procedure.
Either disable VAX for these windows, or add SQL as supported language. |

A few, but the window I'm talking about does not have any extension at all. To open up the SP editor, go to the server explorer, add a SQL connection, open the Database, go to "Stored Procedures", right click, "Add new stored procedure", or select a existing SP and right click "Edit...".
I think that this is a pretty special type of editor window, it discovers select/insert/update/delete statements, marks them and allows accessing the "Query Builder" through a context menu. |
