Every now and again, when I start typing, the cursor moves somewhere totally different. This occurs quite rarely, but it's happened often enough to be noticeable, and it's always confusing.
I had a very strange instance happen right now. Pasting a bit of code over a highlighted block of text, I ended up with the highlighted text being deleted, the cursor moving to another area (with highlight staying in the same place on screen!), and the pasted text ending up replacing a bit of text highlighted in another open file.
I've not found any way of reproducing this, unfortunately. And normally all that happens is I end up looking at the wrong part of the document, which I notice straight away. So I apologise for the rather vague nature of this bug "report", but I offer it in case anyone else has spotted this and maybe thought nothing of it. (At first I thougth I'd just mistyped...) I will keep an eye on this, and post again if I spot a pattern. |
