In 1237, spell check in comments and strings doesn't work anymore....

Make sure the option is enabled on the Correction node of our options dialog.

Might you be looking at an unmodified file? If so, the behavior is by design. Underlining is done only for modified files. See:

I do have the option enabled as well as the file is modified. Is it working for you...?

using VAX 1237 and VS .NET 2003 i have just added the comment
// wonders if speeeel checking still works here...

to a .c file, and i get a red underline.

Make sure you do more than just add a few blank lines to "modify" your file.

Fixed in build 1272.

Misspelled words are underlined when a file is opened.
