this is definitely strange.

using VS .NET 2003 and VAX 1239 i am editing a C++ cpp file.

i am getting to go through and convert my HTML generating code for the 4th time

so, there is quite a bit of copying and pasting of variables. 3 or 4 times in the last half hour the top most item in my ctrl_alt_v list was missing.

for reference, this was the string m_strDisplayResults

this has just happened, and instead of copying this string again, i move the cursor down a couple of lines, and then hit ctrl_alt_v a second time. now this string is the top item in the list

i am not certain it is always the top most item that is missing, but this is the string that i am noticing is missing. it should always be in the list, since i am not copying enough different items to push it off the bottom of the list.

i haven't been able to reproduce this on demand yet. has anyone else seen this? i am going to keep an eye out for a pattern that will allow me to reproduce this.

We have not seen the problem. When it occurs, what item is highlighted? How many items are in your paste menu?

There is one problem that occurs when the paste menu opens atop the mouse pointer. The 2nd item is not necessarily selected. Probably completed unrelated to what you see.
