If you are viewing an ASP.NET page in Design view and you then go to HTML view and then back again to design view, the top 20 or so pixels are occluded by the Visual Assist bar at the top (the one that has the GO button on the right).
When is this bug going to be resolved? I consider this a very serious bug as it renders the context and definition field completely unusable. Anybody who works a lot with Web forms would have to turn off the bar completely. This is my case. I haven't used the bar since I purchased back in March 04.
Also, I've noticed that the bar does not show up in if you open a web form directly into the design view. It also doesn't appear in the HTML view afterwards until the page is saved in the HTML view (only). It does show up if you open a web form directly into the HTML view. Shouldn't the bar always be available?
If the covering up the design view bug cannot easily be fixed then can you give me a way just to turn the bar off in the design and HTML view of the web forms editor all-together. I really use it for the code and have loved it since VA6 in Visual Studio 6 where I really relied on it. I'm disappointed to see the feature unusable in your newer software.
