Alright, I came back after some time away from VAX to see if any improvements have been made. In testing it out I found another bug.
When opening an ASP or ASPX file the Content and Definition bar is hidden in Design View (as expected). When you switch to HTML view the bar appears (as expected). However, when you switch back to Design View the bar stays and covers up the top of the layout (oops). You have to close the document and open it up again to make the bar disappear.
