while looking around the VAX website, i bumped into:

http://www.wholetomato.com/support/glossary.html

which seems both new, and most useful i can feel this being bookmarked and checked on a regular basis.

zen is the art of being at one with the two'ness

Hallo all,

Feline, you're right: that is a page you want to bookmark.

I have one question for support about one of the pages mentioned in this glossary.

At F, F1 it is mentioned (in the details) that you can do a "Restore Operation". The first two points are:
1. Press F1 to open the HTML Help viewer.
2. Select "View|Define Subset...".

But in the MSDN library I use (April 2004), there is no "View|Define Subset...".
There is a "Help|Edit Filters..." though. Can this "Restore Operation" also be done with the editing of these filters? Can you please tell me what I have to fill in at "Help|Edit filters..." to restore the F1 assist?

I hope you can help me with this. Thank you.

With kind regards,
Patrick Luja

What IDE are you using? Our enhancement to F1 is available only in VC++ 6.0.

Hello support,

I think I missed the line:
This feature is available in Microsoft Visual C++ only since it is integrated into Microsoft Visual Studio .NET.

I'm indeed using .Net (currently the 2002 version).

Thanks for pointing it out to me.

With kind regards,
Patrick Luja
