Hello all,
Yesterday (July 15th 2004), I made three entries in the forums of Visual Assist X, but they all disappeared today.
I reported one in topic 2550, one on topic 2637, and one I don't remember right now. I also subscribed myself to these topics. I logged on again yesterday and the 3 messages where still there. I logged on today and I had to type my password again (normally it remembered that), but Ok. And now I see that my posts are gone; even my posted messages counter is set back by these 3.
And did you see supports first entry on topic 2595? On my screen the newlines are all deleted. ... Look at every first entry on every topic. All the newlines disappeared ... Is it just my computer or does someone else see this too?
I hope this fine forum will work again in a short while. Thank you in advance.
With kind regards, Patrick Luja |

WTS moved the Forum on a new Server and the new Server to another ISP. They also upated the Forum-Software (from quite outdated to newest Version). The new Forum is now based on a MySQL-Database (instead of an Access-DB)... I think some pstings are lost in the migration process (I know these postings you're talking about, and yes, I noticed them missing, too)

Wannabee is correct. You managed to post to the forums from which we were migrating. Our mistake.
We sent the missing replies via email. You are welcome to repost.
...And a big "Thank You" for noticing we whacked the EOL characters in the first post of each thread. Ouch. Should be okay now.

Dear support,
Thank you for sending me back my posts. I've reposted all three of them.
FYI: The newlines in every first post of a thread are indeed restored.
With kind regards, Patrick |
