I am working for a corporation that virus checks and firewalls everything we do all the time (Slow). We have one 'build directory' that is exempt from virus checking.
Could we tell VAX where to put its cache file?

This way we could put it in one of the exempt directories, and speed up parsing. (I check system behaviour using sysinternals filemon)

If i am not mistaken VAX keeps all files under C:\\Program Files\\Visual Assist X\\..., and there is no way to change it.

Theoretically it should be:
C:\\Documents and Settings\\%username%\\Application Data\\Visual Assist X\\...
And common data:
C:\\Documents and Settings\\All Users\\Application Data\\Visual Assist X\\...

There are API calls to obtain this directories.
