OS: WinXP SP1 English
If I enable:
/debugport=com1 /baudrate=115200
in boot.ini, e.g.
multi(0)disk(0).....\\Windows="WinXP" /fastdebug /debugport=com1 /baudrate=115200
then installation hangs up (process bar is 100%, setup is loading va_x.dll (LoadLibraryExA)), it's not only problem of the latest build (old ones as well).
This boot.ini settings is used by WinNT+ driver developers using Microsoft Windows Debugger (WinDBG).
Question: don't you have some __asm int 3 (or other debugging instructions in DLL release code) in va_x.dll's EntryPoint ? |
