The method listbox would not appear if I turned the keyboard to Microsoft PinYin IME 2003, even if I used the english input method then. |

having done a quick google, i have found http://seba.studentenweb.org/thesis/howto-winxp.php
i have also found http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/recommended/ime/install.mspx
i have a win2k test machine, which would be ideal for testing this, but the instructions at the first link only work for winXP. do you know which option i need at the second link? there is a pull down list of 8 languages, but none of them are called PinYin.
also, which version of the IDE, and which programming language are you using? i can then try and reproduce this. |

Thanks for your effort! You should select the "Install files for East Asian languages" in the property page of "Regional and Language Options", the applet is located in "Control panel".
Then, you could add MS PinYin IME, but the version must be lower.
The problem was not about the method list, it is my mistake, but the auto complete word, like #include, etc. The right thing is, after I coded #in, vx would show a tip with the complete word #include. But under that keyborad layout, vx show nothing.
My system is: winxp pro eng + sp2; vs 2003.net; C++ |
