In C#, when I quickly type "if (", then the space between the "if" and the opening bracket is removed. If I type slowly, this problem does not occur.

Tested with Visual Studio 2002.

Take a look at the "More bad Suggestions" thread -- is that similar to what you're seeing?

Well, I do see an empty tooltip, so it may be related.
