I just created a new header and cpp file. Pasted a lot of code into it. Added the file to the project.
The files does not appear in Files in workspace dialog. AFAIK also not in the Find Symbols Dialog.

"File|Add New Item..." appears to work fine. Item is in FIW dialog next time you open the dialog.

"File|Add Existing Item..." does not work. Item does not appear in FIW dialog until you re-open your project.
