I've been out for a long time and installed 1293 and seem to still have the caret jumping problem. I hightlight a word and try to type over it and the caret position jumps to another part of the file usually towards the top and finishes the word after the first letter.
This is really a bad problem. I know this has been brought up before but what's the status on this very, very annoying bug. I can't always reproduce it. It just happens sometimes. Somedays are worse than others.
Using xp prof. VS 2k3 no other addins except DirectX debug service.
Not sure if this should go in the Public Beta or Private Beta.

Yes, I still see this. I wonder if it has got worse again recently, but I can't be sure about this. I didn't report it because I'm still on 1283.
I class this bug as at least Critical, probably Fatal. I was surprised that the software was released with this still present. But it's not clear to me that much development is going on at the moment.
